Cybersecurity Specialist with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support a company focused on securing and maintaining mission-critical government information systems and networks. This position is on-site in Quantico, VA. The Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for vulnerability management, security compliance, system hardening, and the implementation of cybersecurity best practices across enterprise environments. Responsibilities for the Cybersecurity Specialist include: * Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures for communication systems, networks, and enterprise environments
* Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation efforts, POA&M tracking, and reporting utilizing ACAS (Tenable Nessus/Security Center)
* Administer and secure Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments while supporting Information Assurance (IA) requirements
* Apply security patches, manage system hardening efforts, and implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
* Support security operations through the use of HBSS, PKI, firewalls, IDS/IPS technologies, VPNs, and other cybersecurity tools
Required Qualifications for the Cybersecurity Specialist include: * 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Systems Administration, or a related field
* Experience utilizing ACAS (Tenable Nessus/Security Center) for vulnerability scanning, patch management, compliance reporting, and POA&M tracking
* Experience with cybersecurity technologies including HBSS, McAfee ePO, PKI, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, auditing, and security compliance programs
* Bachelor's Degree required
* Active IAT Level III Certification required (CISSP, CASP+, CISA, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, or equivalent)
* Active Secret Security Clearance required
* Military or Marine Corps experience is highly preferred
Compensation for the Cybersecurity Specialist include: * Salary Range: competitive depending on experience
