Lead Data Analyst/Engineer -- Hybrid -- W2 Profiles

Role: Data Engineer Lead/Architect

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise data architecture, including data models, pipelines, storage, and integration patterns.
• Define and implement data standards, governance, lineage, and data quality practices.
• Evaluate and recommend data platform technologies aligned with client strategy.
• Collaborate with AI Architects and Data Engineers to enable machine learning and AI workloads.
• Review architecture designs and code for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Document architecture decisions and present solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Guide, mentor, and provide technical direction to offshore data teams.

Required Qualifications

• 13+ years of overall IT experience, with strong experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics.
• Deep expertise in relational, dimensional, and lakehouse data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python.
• Experience with ETL/ELT design and data integration patterns.
• Knowledge of data governance, Master Data Management (MDM), data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Strong solution architecture, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Manhattan, NY, three days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Architect or Data Architecture certifications.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Experience leading and mentoring offshore data engineering teams.
