Technical Training Specialist - Manufacturing Equipment

Hoerbiger is seeking a Customer Technical Trainer to deliver high-quality training on our advanced compression, drive, and mechatronic solutions used in global manufacturing and process industries. In this role, you will design and deliver instructor-led and hands-on training for customer technicians and engineers, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of HOERBIGER equipment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, service, and sales teams, update course materials, support on-site training at customer facilities, and promote an engineering-driven, safety-focused culture with strong, long-term customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer technical training on HOERBIGER compression, drive, and mechatronic products and systems
• Develop, update, and localize training materials, manuals, and e-learning content for industrial customers
• Conduct hands-on equipment demonstrations and troubleshoot basic technical issues during training
• Assess customer skill gaps and tailor training programs to specific applications and industries
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and sales teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date technical content
• Support commissioning and after-sales teams with training-related documentation and tools
• Collect feedback, track training effectiveness, and recommend improvements
• Ensure all training follows safety, compliance, and quality standards in industrial environments
• Occasionally travel to customer sites, workshops, and regional facilities for on-site training
• Maintain accurate training records, schedules, and reports for internal stakeholders
