Job Description

Cross Domain Systems Engineer, Senior | Davidsonville, MD, United States | Hybrid We're hiring on behalf of a globally respected technology and engineering firm that plays a critical role in national security. The Role • Lead an engineering team in the development and deployment of digital cross-domain solutions. • Drive customer engagement to capture, define, and understand user and security requirements. • Plan and implement cross-domain data flows, data handling policies, and filtering. • Support system accreditation following the Risk Management Framework and improve security objectives. • Plan and provide user training to drive adoption of new systems. • Broaden skillset into Cross Domain technologies, Cloud technologies, Agile lifecycle, and cybersecurity. What You'll Need • Experience developing requirements, including capability and system-level requirements, user stories, or use cases. • Experience developing technical written deliverables for system delivery or deployment. • Experience with online collaboration and work tracking tools (e.g., Atlassian Suite, ServiceNow). • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and its application to system accreditation. • Ability to plan system delivery and deployment efforts, including technical plans, schedules, and risk tracking. • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 5+ years of engineering experience, or 12+ years of engineering experience in lieu of a degree. • Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of start date.
