Software Developer – Forward-Deployed Engineering (FDE)

Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Hybrid, 3 days/week) | Contract-to-Hire

Overview

Our client is seeking a hands-on .NET/C# developer who can work directly with business teams to understand challenges, build and implement solutions, and improve business processes.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with business teams across the organization to identify challenges and opportunities
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and drive them through implementation
• Design, build, and deploy solutions using .NET/C#
• Improve and streamline business processes through software
• Bridge business needs with technical execution, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong .NET/C# development skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Proven ability to work directly with business users and bridge business needs with technical execution

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with system integrations
• Experience with workflow automation
• Experience with AI solutions, including AI agents

Pay rate: $60/hr. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, hybrid (3 days/week onsite) in Farmington Hills, MI.
