Job Title:  Teradata Database Administrator (DBA)
Location:  Minnesota
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Teradata Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, optimize, and support Teradata database environments. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, capacity management, and production support.
Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Teradata Database administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Teradata architecture, including AMPs, Parsing Engines (PE), BYNET, and nodes.
  • Experience with Teradata SQL and database utilities.
  • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of database backup, restore, recovery, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with user access management, roles, privileges, and security.
  • Experience with database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Knowledge of Teradata Viewpoint for monitoring and performance management.
  • Experience with workload management and resource utilization.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise database environments.
