Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and Kubernetes platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Terraform module authoring, repository architecture, Kubernetes administration, and end-to-end observability.

The engineer will be responsible for developing reusable infrastructure modules, establishing platform engineering best practices, supporting Kubernetes environments, and implementing comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules at the module-authoring level.

·        Establish and maintain scalable Terraform repository layouts, including reusable modules, environments, configurations, and deployment workflows.

·        Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions following enterprise standards and best practices.

·        Set up, administer, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and workloads.

·        Manage Kubernetes resources, deployments, namespaces, services, configurations, secrets, and networking.

·        Implement and maintain end-to-end observability across infrastructure, applications, containers, and Kubernetes environments.

·        Develop monitoring, logging, alerting, and telemetry solutions to improve platform reliability.

·        Troubleshoot infrastructure, Kubernetes, deployment, and production issues.

·        Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, development, security, and application teams to deliver reliable platform solutions.

·        Implement automation and standardization to improve deployment efficiency and platform scalability.

·        Participate in platform modernization, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·        Follow security, compliance, and operational best practices in all platform implementations.

Required Skills:

·        Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, including custom/reusable module authoring.

·        Experience designing Terraform repository structures and layouts for enterprise environments.

·        Strong knowledge of Kubernetes setup, administration, and troubleshooting.

·        Experience with Kubernetes deployments, services, namespaces, ConfigMaps, Secrets, networking, and RBAC.

·        Strong understanding of end-to-end observability.

·        Experience with monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting.

·        Strong Infrastructure as Code and automation experience.

·        Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud/platform environments.

·        Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·        Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Skills:

·        Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.

·        Experience with Helm and Kubernetes package management.

·        Experience with CI/CD tools and automated infrastructure deployments.

·        Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, or similar observability platforms.

·        Experience with GitHub/GitLab and enterprise repository management.

·        Knowledge of cloud security and DevSecOps practices.

·        Experience supporting highly available and production-critical platforms.

Education & Experience:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

·        7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or related roles.

·        Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes is required.
