Hybrid / Flexible Emtech Recruitment is currently working with a leading engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing Leeds team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior or Principal-level engineer to take a key role within a multidisciplinary team, working on a varied range of projects across the built environment.

The Role As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects, providing technical leadership and supporting the development of the wider engineering team. Current projects include:

Residential developments<br />Commercial buildings<br />Schools and hospitals<br />Industrial projects<br />Waste handling and recycling facilities<br />Prison and public-sector buildings<br />Decarbonisation and energy-related projectsYour responsibilities will include:

Producing and overseeing technical designs, calculations and specifications<br />Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers<br />Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams<br />Managing project delivery, priorities and resources<br />Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders<br />Maintaining high technical and quality standards<br />Supporting the continued growth and development of the Leeds team Requirements The successful candidate will ideally have:
