Weβre looking for compassionate, reliable people to join our team as Reablement Care Assistants.
This role is about much more than providing support β itβs about helping people rebuild confidence, regain daily skills, and restore independence in their own homes.
Every visit makes a difference: from enabling someone to cook a meal again, to supporting them back on their feet after hospital discharge. If you want to see the direct results of your care and celebrate small but powerful milestones with clients, this role is for you.
π· Pay Rates β Paid Per Full Shift
We believe great work deserves great pay β and thatβs why our carers are paid for the full shift, not just contact time:
- Β£14.20 per hour β Monday to Friday
- Β£16.00 per hour β Saturday & Sunday
β¨ Guaranteed hours available for the right candidates β giving you the security of regular work.
π East Hertfordshire β Main Areas
- North East Herts β Buntingford & surrounding villages
- South East Herts β Bishopβs Stortford, Sawbridgeworth & nearby villages
- Central Herts β Hertford, Ware & surrounding villages
- West Herts (Rural Villages) β Much Hadham, Little Hadham, Walkern, Watton-at-Stone, Standon, Puckeridge, Braughing, Hunsdon, High Cross, Thundridge, Great Amwell, Wareside, Albury, Widford, Aspenden & Westmill

- Β£16.00 per hour β Saturday & Sunday
β° Shifts β 7 days a week
- Day: 06:00/07:00 β 14:00
- Evening: 14:00 β 22:00/23:00
π Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a vehicle (essential for travel between clients)
π What Youβll Be Doing
As a Care Professional, youβll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.
Youβll help with:
- Supporting with personal care β bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
- Assisting with medication β preparation and administration
- Helping with mobility and using aids/equipment safely
- Preparing meals/snacks and offering mealtime support
- Carrying out light domestic duties β laundry, making beds, light cleaning
- Offering companionship and building meaningful relationships
π What Else Youβll Help With
- π€ Companionship β conversations, activities, outings
- π Medication Management β collecting prescriptions, reminders, safe administration
- π² Nutrition & Mealtimes β cooking nutritious meals, considering dietary needs
- π‘ Housekeeping β light cleaning, laundry, tidying
- πΆ Mobility Assistance β transfers, walking support, use of aids
- π Health Monitoring β observing and reporting changes in condition
- π Social Inclusion β helping maintain community and family connections
- π¬ Emotional Support β empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear
- π Documentation β accurate record keeping
- π‘οΈ Safety & Emergency Response β creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed

π¦Έ What Youβll Need (Besides a Cape and Superpowers!)
Hold onto your hats β ideally, youβll have at least 6 months of social care experience to join our merry band of care crusaders!

Youβll need to be as resilient as a rubber band and as eager to learn as a curious kitten. π A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential (some clients live in rural areas and need heroes who can reach them).
