Job description:

• Lead application engineering processes, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and Schindler Group guidelines
• Coordinate resources to achieve financial, quality, and efficiency targets—delivering solutions with first pass yield and on-time delivery.
• Champion customer-centric support, keeping stakeholders informed and empowered with knowledge of our products and tools
• Design and engineer both custom and pre-engineered lift solutions, from initial concept through to delivery
• Produce detailed process calculations, design specifications, and layout drawings to the highest standards
• Perform final configuration, generate bills of materials, and prevent costly gaps in the process

Profile description:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience in engineering design and technical calculations
• Hands-on with CAD (ideally 3D) and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Schindler’s design tools: Drive, Rail, Car Weight Calculation, LBLC, LiftDesigner, CREO Parametrics/Simulate, PNC, MODB, and Lotus Notes
• Customer-focused, results-driven, and a strong communicator
