The Role • Operate heavy equipment like hostlers, top loaders, and cranes to load and unload shipping containers. • Drive specialized equipment to position and organize containers within the intermodal yard. • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container movements and tasks with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver’s license is mandatory. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders/stairs. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team. • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
