Repair Technician - Lanham, MD - Contract W2 - $14-24 per HR

Description

This position is a six-month contract with potential extension, located onsite in Lanham, MD. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading communication equipment. Key technologies include generic telecommunications and electronics systems. Responsibilities also encompass quality validation and documentation of repair processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and program two-way radios using standard procedures.
• Set up and operate test equipment for performance monitoring.
• Document equipment performance and validate test results.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
• Prepare equipment for final shipment following quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in radio depot repair operations.
• Proficiency in using telecommunications test equipment.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
