Job Description

Develop your technical expertise across paraplanning, compliance and advice quality within a growing financial planning firm offering flexibility, autonomy and genuine career development.

This is a varied role for a technically strong financial planning professional who enjoys both client-focused technical work and maintaining high advice standards.

You'll work closely with advisers, supporting complex cases, reviewing advice quality and helping to strengthen compliance processes across the business.

What you'll do

  • Conduct pre and post advice file reviews to ensure suitability and regulatory compliance
  • Identify risks, omissions and areas for improvement within client files
  • Provide feedback to advisers and support ongoing advice quality
  • Assist with compliance monitoring, audits and process improvements
  • Prepare suitability reports and recommendation documentation
  • Undertake pension, investment and protection research
  • Carry out technical analysis, product comparisons and cashflow modelling
  • Support advisers with complex cases and technical queries
  • Assist with Training & Competency administration and adviser development

What you'll need

  • Experience within a financial planning, wealth management or IFA environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning
  • Experience in paraplanning, compliance, file checking or quality review
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and suitability requirements
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
  • Confidence to challenge and influence where appropriate
