Warehouse Operative – Rework & Picking
Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:40pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person
Newstaff MK are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and happy working both independently and as part of a team. The role involves picking, packing and rework, including some heavy lifting.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Picking and packing orders for overseas customers
- Reading and accurately following information on pick notes
- Using a PC to input and update information
- Picking customer orders for rework
- Re-labelling items accurately
- Repacking products ready for dispatch
- Checking labels and product information carefully
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Some heavy lifting will be involved
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have excellent attention to detail, particularly when re-labelling items
- Be comfortable using a PC and entering information accurately
- Be able to follow written instructions and pick notes
- Be reliable and punctual
- Have a good work ethic and a positive attitude
- Be happy working on your own as well as part of a team
- Be comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks and rework duties
- Have your own safety boots and high-visibility vest
- Be available to work Monday to Friday, with no weekend work

This is initially a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
