Payrate: $75.00 - $80.00/hr
Summary:
In this role, you will collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers to predict and improve system-level performance of Company products and prototypes. Using internally developed simulation tools—including an existing display emulation codebase in MATLAB—you will analyze results to directly enhance product and prototype performance while improving the codebase's maintainability, efficiency, and capabilities.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $75.00 - $80.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus. Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.

Summary:

Job Responsibilities:
- Code refactoring in IQ Tool box.
- Use simulation tools to model end-to-end performance of display systems
- Report analysis of these simulations to establish specifications for these display systems and ensure a successful product
- Collaborate with the larger research team to explore concepts and drive system performance to create compelling experiences
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep proficiency in MATLAB
- Signal and image processing knowledge,-
- Experience with source control
- Strong software development skills
- Experience with Python
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Signal/Image processing
- Mathematical modeling and simulation
- Color science
- Knowledge of display technologies (µLED, OLED, LCD, LCOS, DMD) or display pipeline architecture
- Familiarity with display metrology/calibration, image quality metrics, or human perception
Qualification:
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Computer Science, Color Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
