Diffusion Equipment Engineer
Location: Chandler, Arizona (Onsite)
Role Overview
Seeking a Diffusion Equipment Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in Chandler, AZ. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving equipment performance, troubleshooting recurring tool issues, and helping drive equipment reliability and uptime.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills who enjoys working directly with manufacturing equipment and collaborating across teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to improve tool uptime and reliability.
• Investigate recurring equipment problems and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Support day-to-day fab operations and manufacturing needs.
• Analyze equipment performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain equipment procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Facilities teams.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

Experience

• 2-5 years of equipment engineering or related technical experience preferred.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Candidates from other manufacturing or technical environments with strong troubleshooting skills will be considered.

• Experience with diffusion, furnace, thermal processing, or related manufacturing equipment.

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
