Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Guidewire Expertise: 6+ years of recent, hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration and development.

Integration Experience: Extensive experience designing and implementing Guidewire integrations (GX Model, Web Services, REST APIs, Messaging, Batch Processes, Plugins).

Certifications: Guidewire Certified InsuranceSuite Developer (minimum requirement).

Ways of Working: Self-starter able to work independently with minimal direction, while actively engaging and collaborating in broader cross-functional and architectural discussions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Embed directly into an established Agile/Scrum team within the Claims Information Systems group (2-week sprint cycles).

Attend and actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Analyze, design, code, test, and deliver high-priority user stories, technical tasks, and defect remediations from the product backlog.

Quickly ramp up through onboarding, adopting customer engineering processes, architectural patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices to begin contributing immediately.

Partner with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and peer developers to ensure high-quality, timely software delivery.
