Position Summary:
Seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to design, implement, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments supporting middleware and web-tier applications. This is a long-term contract with a hybrid work setup. You will work closely with AppArch, Middleware, DevOps, and application development teams to drive cloud-native strategies and flawless integration with on-premises systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for hosting Middleware applications

• Architect cloud environments for Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, Oracle REST Data Services, NGINX, Oracle HTTP Server, Apache HTTP Server on Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)

• Collaborate with AppArch and Middleware/DevOps teams for seamless cloud/on-premises integrations

• Ensure high availability, efficient deployments, and security compliance across multi-environment setups

• Automate build, test, and deployment with DevOps tools: GitHub, Nexus, Ansible Automation Platform

• Support scalable deployment and ongoing management of Middleware applications in cloud and on-premises

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience in IT (including 2+ years in cloud architecture/design)

• Hands-on experience designing secure, scalable cloud environments in OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)

• Proficiency deploying/managing services: compute, storage, networking, database, security

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization, scaling, and orchestration

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Middleware: Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, APEX, REST Data Services, API Gateway

• Familiar with DevOps tools and automation workflows

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
