Job Description

Oracle Health Patient Accounting Application Support Specialist || Richmond, VA || Hybrid || Contract

We are looking for an Oracle Health Patient Accounting (OHPAC) Application Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 support to healthcare end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 / first-call-resolution support for OHPAC/Cerner applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine application and workflow issues.
  • Support user access, configuration, work queues, interfaces, printing, and related functions.
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 2, technical, implementation, or vendor teams.
  • Perform EHR pre- and post-go-live health checks.
  • Track incidents, resolutions, recurring issues, and system trends.
  • Prepare support documentation, health-check reports, and readiness checklists.
  • Follow ITIL, SLA, SOP, HIPAA, and healthcare security requirements.
  • Provide clear and professional support to end users.

Required:

  • 3+ years of OHPAC / Oracle Health Patient Accounting experience.
  • Experience with healthcare patient accounting / revenue-cycle workflows.
  • Tier 1 application support and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with incident documentation and escalation.
  • Working knowledge of Citrix, desktop applications, printing, and user access.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
