Vice President Fund Accounting Manager

BNY is seeking a Vice President to provide fund and client accounting services for complex funds. The role includes reviewing accounting work, resolving complex reconciliations, preparing client reports, advising on accounting standards, and improving processes while guiding junior team members and interacting with clients.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset values, fund performance, expense allocations, and accounting reports for complex funds.
• Review junior team members' accounting work and provide guidance on methodologies and complex tasks.
• Lead service improvement plans and enhance fund accounting processes and efficiencies.
• Guide and review cash and asset reconciliations, resolving complex reconciliations and atypical transactions.
• Prepare and guide the development of client reports on complex fund performance.
• Answer client questions and evaluate GAAP or IFRS changes for their impact on accounting practices.
