Database Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Analyst to support roadside toll systems through database administration, SQL development, reporting, data analysis, and system monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), Power BI, database migrations, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

·Create, manage, and maintain KPIs, metrics, reports, and monitoring alerts.

·Perform database migrations, vendor build deployments, hardware replacements, and SQL Distributor maintenance.

·Support roadside database replication and multiple database platforms and computing environments.

·Develop Power BI reports and conduct in-depth data analysis.

·Monitor third-party patching and coordinate with operations centers and technical teams.

·Analyze database requirements, schemas, data dictionaries, and processing architectures.

·Develop, modify, and optimize database structures and SQL procedures to meet system requirements.

·Validate data accuracy, credibility, and relevance to business operations.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff as needed.

Required Qualifications

·5+ years of IT experience in database administration, SQL procedural coding, database design, and related computing environments.

·Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL.

·Experience with database migrations, replication, monitoring, and performance optimization.

·Knowledge of Power BI reporting, KPI development, and data analysis.

·Ability to analyze database schemas, data requirements, and application architectures.

·Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

3–5 Must-Haves

1.5+ years of database administration and SQL development experience.

2.Strong Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL skills.

3.Database migrations, replication, and performance optimization experience.

4.Power BI reporting, KPI/metrics development, and data analysis.

5.Database monitoring, troubleshooting, and cross-platform support experience.
