Cloud Operations Lead

Cloud Operations Lead | Remote | Contract

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Operations / SRE Lead with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Argo CD, GitOps, and production incident management.

Location: Remote – Occasional Travel

Experience : 10 or above 

Must-Have Skills

• Google Cloud Platform – Compute, Networking, IAM, Monitoring
• Kubernetes / GKE – Hands-on troubleshooting & scaling
• Argo CD / GitOps – Strong hands-on experience
• GitLab CI/CD – Pipelines, runners & deployments
• Production Troubleshooting & On-Call Support
• Incident Management / MIM / RCA / PIR
• Linux & Networking – TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls
• Terraform / Ansible
• Python / Bash
• Database troubleshooting & performance analysis
• Monitoring: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Monitoring

Leadership

• 6+ years leading/mentoring Cloud Operations, SRE or DevOps teams
• Strong ITIL/ITSM and Change/Release Management experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations

⭐ Nice to Have: AWS/EKS, ServiceNow/Jira, ITIL certification, FinOps/Cloud Cost Optimization, CKA/CKAD.
