.Net Developer - Local Candidates Only

Title: .NET Developer 

Duration: 6 months plus

Location: Lisle, IL - onsite position

Must be ready for onsite interview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Developer to work across the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment, enhancing existing web applications and supporting long-term application performance. The ideal candidate can work effectively both independently and within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience with ASP.NET / .NET Core using C# and/or VB.NET in Visual Studio
• 3+ years of ReactJS development experience
• Experience developing Web APIs using .NET Core
• Experience writing extensive unit tests and testing Web APIs
• Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability considerations
• Experience modernizing legacy ASP.NET Web Forms applications to .NET Core + React
• Strong knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Expert-level SQL knowledge, including complex queries and stored procedures
• Experience working with SOAP and REST services
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
• Understanding of GitFlow branching strategies and deployments
• Familiarity with Kubernetes deployments
• Understanding of SOLID design principles
• Experience with code refactoring and design patterns
• Familiarity with ADO or JIRA
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with TFS and Git
• Familiarity with Azure
• Strong understanding of technical best practices within an Agile environment
• Telerik experience is a plus
