Databricks Solution Architect

3+ years of hands-on experience with the Databricks platform, including Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake and Delta Live Tables.

10+ years of experience architecting and implementing enterprise data solutions with modern data platforms.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform) and their data services.

Strong technical foundation in data engineering, SQL, Apache Spark, Python and distributed computing concepts.

Experience building data models, designing ETL/ELT pipelines and implementing governance frameworks for enterprise data management.

Demonstrated expertise in MLOps, AI/ML use cases and modern AI platforms.

Leadership and Communication

Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior architects and engineers.

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Experience scoping large enterprise engagements and managing technical delivery across multiple workstreams.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguity and technical complexity.

Databricks certification (Certified Associate Data Engineer or Certified Professional Data Engineer).

Background in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles within a consulting or systems integrator environment.

Knowledge of the Databricks partner ecosystem and integrations with tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Apache Airflow.

Experience with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).

Track record of building repeatable solutions and accelerators that drive customer value and operational efficiency.
