Job Description

Quality & EHS Manager

Location: Reading

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 5pm

Working Pattern: Office based

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Quality & EHS Manager to join a growing organisation operating within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality professional with strong ISO, audit, CAPA and HSE experience who enjoys being hands-on and making a genuine impact across a site.


Role Requirements

  • Leading the Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental management system
  • Managing internal and external audits
  • Owning CAPA processes and effectiveness checks
  • Managing customer quality issues and complaints
  • Leading root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Supporting supplier and subcontractor quality performance
  • Monitoring compliance, risks, trends and KPIs
  • Leading incident investigations and HSE activities
  • Driving continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma and risk-based thinking
  • Developing and delivering Q-EHS training across the site


About You

  • Proven experience managing Quality and/or QHSE systems
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Experience leading audits and managing CAPA
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with HSE legislation, risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Package

  • £55,000–£65,000 per annum
  • Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00
  • Office/site-based role in Reading
