We're hiring on behalf of a well-established organisation within the industrial services sector, known for its commitment to excellence and its role in supporting critical infrastructure. This employer is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join their expanding regional team, focusing on industrial refrigeration systems.

The Role

• Service, maintain, and repair industrial-size chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for customers, performing diagnostics and executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Conduct reactive repairs across various industrial sites, ensuring equipment operates safely and in compliance.
• Produce detailed service reports and recommend equipment improvements.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team while often working independently.

What You'll Need

• Refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience with industrial chillers and refrigeration systems (HFC, ammonia/CO₂).
• Ability to interpret technical documents, including electrical schematics and piping diagrams.
• F-GAS 2079 and ammonia handling certification.
• Familiarity with major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the refrigeration industry.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
