Cloud Engineer with Security Clearance

Cloud Engineer Location: Northern Virginia (On-Site)
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required (SAP Eligibility Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Agensys is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a Department of Defense program delivering secure, modernized IT capabilities to the national security community. This program focuses on enhancing mission effectiveness through cloud-based enterprise services, Zero Trust architecture, and advanced data security solutions while enabling collaboration across highly secure environments. The ideal candidate will have experience engineering cloud solutions within regulated environments and a strong understanding of cloud automation, infrastructure as code, and enterprise security best practices. Responsibilities

• Engineer, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments in accordance with Department of Defense cloud security requirements.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Terraform, to automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of cloud infrastructure.
• Support secure hybrid cloud architectures that enable collaboration while maintaining appropriate security boundaries.
• Implement and support Zero Trust principles and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities.
• Assist with the design, deployment, and sustainment of classified cloud environments.
• Ensure cloud solutions remain compliant with DoD and Intelligence Community security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud services.
• Support cloud modernization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across the enterprise. Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with cloud service providers, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
• Understanding of the Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG).
• Experience supporting secure enterprise cloud environments.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for SAP access.
• Ability to work on-site in Northern Virginia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting classified or high-side cloud environments.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and ICAM solutions.
• Experience supporting cloud modernization efforts within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
