Job description

About the Role

Own the supply chain product roadmap for a B2B software platform serving manufacturers. You will connect hands-on manufacturing and supply chain expertise with technical product development to improve complex operational workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Define and drive product strategy for procurement, inventory management, traceability, vendor management, and BOM/MRP capabilities.

  • Visit factory floors and work with procurement leads and supply chain directors to understand operational challenges.

  • Translate supply chain workflows into product specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes in close partnership with engineering.

  • Use AI-assisted tools to prototype solutions, query data, work with APIs, and contribute code when appropriate.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, customer success, and sales to deliver measurable customer value and smooth onboarding.

  • Analyze inventory metrics, product usage, and customer feedback to test assumptions and improve outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Three to ten years of experience spanning product management, software engineering or hands-on coding, and manufacturing or supply chain.

  • Experience taking software features from research through launch, ideally in manufacturing or supply chain software.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement, BOM/MRP, inventory allocation, and traceability workflows.

  • Ability to build functional prototypes and turn complex domain logic into clear technical specifications.

  • Experience with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, APIs, ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP, MES, PLM, and AI-assisted prototyping tools.

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related technical field.

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and exposure to manufacturing or advanced hardware industries such as aerospace, energy, robotics, or automotive.

  • Must be able to work on-site in Los Angeles at least three days per week and have work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits
