Job Description

Job Advert: Compliance Analyst

Our client is seeking dedicated Compliance Analyst's to join their dynamic team within the Delivery & Schemes directorate. This role is essential in driving compliance and ensuring that consumers receive the support they need in the evolving energy landscape.

Start ASAP, pending compliance checks, hours Monday-Friday 36 hours per week, this is a hybrid working role one day a week in the office, duration until end of April 2027, pay £17ph PAYE, location Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations and manage cases related to energy suppliers and regulated companies, delivering high-quality analysis of potential issues.
  • Make evidence-based recommendations, identifying and escalating key compliance matters.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather intelligence, including whistle-blower engagements when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively to senior colleagues about the benefits and challenges of compliance actions.
  • Build constructive relationships with energy suppliers, government bodies, and industry stakeholders to resolve consumer issues.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about the energy sector and committed to delivering positive outcomes for consumers.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, capable of collecting and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex issues to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Power BI for data analysis.
  • Demonstrates an ability to prioritise and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
