Job Description
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective, long-term solutions to improve system reliability and performance.
* Provide technical leadership by guiding software architecture, design decisions, and development best practices across projects.
* Apply knowledge of security concepts and networks.
* Set up and use virtualized infrastructure in developing and testing code.
Education/Experience/Skillset Required: * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of relevant professional experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Minimum of 5 years experience with Python and C/C++ programming
* Software static and dynamic analysis, with a focus on malware analysis and reverse engineering
* Debugging
* Networking (TCP/IP) and socket level programming
* Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and implementing secure, reliable service-to-service communication.
* Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio.
* Software analysis, optimization, and reverse engineering experience
* Assembly programming and analysis experience
* Secure programming and development best practices
* Demonstrated experience with virtualization technologies and platforms such as KVM, QEMU, LXD, and IntroVirt®.
* Deep understanding in low-level internals of any of the following technologies: Windows, Unix/Linux, Network Devices, Mobile devices, Unit Test
Travel: Less than 10% Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance AA / Disability / Veteran
US Salary Range: $104,000 - $158,000 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
