Job description

Help strengthen the accuracy and quality of transaction reporting across global markets. Join our specialist regulatory reporting team, where you will contribute to regulatory change and support reporting obligations across futures and exchange-traded derivatives in key international jurisdictions.
We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
As a Business Analyst in our Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting team, you will be joining our end-to-end transaction reporting transformation project and be the lead business analyst for one of these workstreams. You will analyse business processes and translate regulatory and operational needs into clear business and functional requirements, with a particular focus on futures and exchange-traded derivatives. You will apply your knowledge of MiFID to support transaction reporting obligations, contribute to projects and regulatory change initiatives, and work closely with business, technology and compliance stakeholders to identify issues and deliver practical solutions. Your analytical approach and attention to detail will help maintain accurate, timely and high-quality reporting in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment. Note that this is a fixed term opportunity for 12-18 months.
What you offer

  • Strong background in operations or business analysis within financial services
  • Experience with MiFID transaction reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of futures or exchange-traded derivative products
  • Business analysis experience, including producing clear business and functional requirements, analysing and performing data mapping, transformation requirements and regulatory testing activities
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business, technology and compliance teams
We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
