Ecommerce Architect
Mckinney, TX(Onsite)
Longterm W2 Contrat

We are sourcing an Ecommerce Architect for SRS Distribution Digital. This person will architect our B2B and B2C platforms (web, mobile, and Azure) and lead how the team uses AI to design, build, and operate those solutions.

Please send practicing architects who already use AI in their day-to-day work. The profile we want is a commerce architect with a working AI practice.

Must have

  • 8+ years in ecommerce or digital commerce platforms.
  • Architect-level experience with a modern web stack (React, Node.js, Next.js, or equivalent), APIs (REST and GraphQL), mobile (React Native or equivalent), Azure, and CI/CD.
  • Commerce domain depth: catalog, content, digital asset management, orders, payments, shipping, and third-party integrations.
  • Uses AI coding assistants and agents regularly, and can walk through a real example from the last year, including how they reviewed the output.
  • Can architect applied AI on a commerce platform (discovery, recommendations, content enrichment, buying or service agents) with data grounding, evaluation, security, privacy, and cost controls.
  • Clear communication, and the ability to represent Digital in architecture reviews.

  • Ecommerce architects whose current design and delivery work does not yet include AI.
  • AI or machine-learning specialists whose background is model work rather than commerce architecture.
  • Candidates who name AI tools and cannot describe an outcome.

Nice to have

  • Adobe Commerce.
  • B2B patterns: account-specific catalog, pricing, and quotes.
  • Has set AI engineering standards for a team.
