Job Description
Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We're seeking a dedicated Care Professional with guaranteed contracted hours to join our team in Bath, United Kingdom. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care management team
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant events during shifts
- Collaborate with other care professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Adapt care plans to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client
- Promote clients' independence and dignity at all times
- Experience in supporting older people in a professional or personal capacity is desirable
- Confident in the use of a mobile phone and basic technology
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of individual clients
- Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate nature with a genuine passion for supporting others
- Flexibility to work alternate weekends and provide continuity of care
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for client visits and outings
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a care setting
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Empathy and patience when working with vulnerable individuals
- Willingness to participate in our award-winning training programme
- Must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK (we are not sponsoring visa applications at this time)

- From £13.50 per hour for flexible contracts.

- Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.
- Paid on-boarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualifications such as The Care Certificate, NVQ diplomas and Level 2 certificates in a variety of topics
- Paid holiday - accrues at a rate equivalent to 5.6 weeks a year pro rata
- Regular working pattern with 1- hour minimum visits to regular clients.
- Out of hours support from the Office team
- Paid DBS
