Working as part of a dedicated engineering team, you'll help maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime and support continuous improvement across the site.<br /><br /> <strong>The Opportunity</strong>: <br /><br />As a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Nights), you'll play a key role in:<br /><br /> - Maintaining, fault-finding and repairing production machinery to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations.<br /> - Responding effectively to breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing improvements to minimise recurring issues.<br /> - Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), supporting equipment commissioning and contributing to engineering improvement projects.<br /> - Working collaboratively with production colleagues to support daily start-ups, maintain high standards of food safety and ensure effective communication across departments.<br /> - Supporting apprentices, sharing technical knowledge and promoting safe working practices, good housekeeping and continuous improvement.<br />-Your work will directly contribute to improved production efficiency, reduced downtime and the smooth running of a busy manufacturing operation.<br /><br /> <strong>About You: We're looking for someone who can bring:</strong><br /><br /> - An HNC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.<br /> - Must have a multi-skilled engineering background, with confidence in mechanical and electrical fault-finding.<br />-Ideally have 17th Edition or 18th Edition <br /> - Experience maintaining and repairing equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<br /> - A proactive, safety-conscious approach, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.<br /> - Good communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.<br />-Any Experience within FMCG would be advantageous, but a pro-active attitude and sound multi-skilled experience is critical<br />-You don't need to meet every desirable criterion to apply.
