IT Operations Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking an experienced IT Operations Business Analyst to support IT leadership through operational analytics, executive reporting, and data-driven storytelling. This role will serve as a key partner to IT Operations leadership, transforming complex operational data into actionable insights, concise narratives, and executive-ready presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex IT operational data to identify trends, anomalies, risks, gaps, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain executive-level reporting, scorecards, operational summaries, and leadership presentations
• Leverage ServiceNow reporting, Performance Analytics, Platform Analytics, dashboards, and KPI data to support operational decision-making
• Gather and synthesize information from multiple IT operational teams to create a cohesive view of organizational performance
• Validate operational metrics, identify data inconsistencies, and ensure reporting accuracy and completeness
• Translate technical and operational information into clear, concise, business-focused insights for leadership audiences
• Develop executive narratives that clearly articulate what happened, why it matters, associated risks, and recommended areas of focus
• Partner closely with IT leadership to understand priorities, objectives, and operational challenges
• Proactively investigate data, operational issues, and emerging trends to uncover actionable insights
• Independently manage assignments from data gathering and analysis through final executive presentation and delivery
• Support recurring operational reviews, leadership updates, and strategic reporting initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in business analysis, operational reporting, analytics, or IT operations support
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow reporting, Performance Analytics, Platform Analytics, dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards
• Strong understanding of IT Operations, technology services, and operational performance metrics
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with experience creating and maintaining executive-level presentations
• Ability to analyze large datasets and transform findings into meaningful business insights
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and gaps in data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
• Experience presenting findings and recommendations to leadership audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive deliverables to completion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Director, VP, or executive-level stakeholders
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) environments
• Experience working within enterprise IT Operations organizations
• Knowledge of operational performance management and KPI frameworks
• Experience developing executive summaries, business narratives, and leadership communications

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with exceptional attention to detail, business acumen, and the ability to synthesize information across multiple IT operational teams and data sources. This is not a data engineering or dashboard development role. Instead, the focus is on interpreting operational data, identifying meaningful trends and risks, and communicating insights effectively to senior leadership.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
