We're seeking a Heavy Machinery Operator for full-time work on a Solar Energy site in Hudspeth County, Texas
Responsibilities
Road building and maintenance.
Land clearing and site prep for solar installations.
Heavy equipment operation (e.g., telehandler, forklift, auger).
Qualifications
3+ years experience operating heavy machinery.
Highly proficient with skid steer.
Comfortable running forestry mulcher attachment.
Comfortable running auger attachment.
Boring 12" holes, 20 feet deep, for grounding wells.
Highly proficient with bulldozer.
Clearing and leveling land, including sand dunes.
Strong understanding of cut-and-fill grading.
Highly proficient with telehandler/forklift.
Moving and placing 10,000 lb containers with precision.
Moving pallets of solar panels without creating ruts.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Advanced knowledge of road building preferred
Experience with other equipment is a plus

Vacation/Leave
10 paid vacation days (2 weeks) per year, plus paid holidays.
Calling in sick or skipping a shift due to personal weather preference will be considered unpaid.
Additional time off is unpaid and requires supervisor approval.
Travel/Moving
Commuting to and from the site is not reimbursed.
$2,000 moving stipend for workers relocating from more than 150 miles away.
Breaks
One 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Two 15-minute paid breaks (one AM, one PM).
Weather
If conditions are called unsafe (rain, lightning, wind, etc.) before the shift starts, the day is cancelled and unpaid.
If a shift starts and is cancelled mid-day for weather, the worker is paid in full.
PPE/Work Gear
Composite-toe work boots required; reimbursed up to $200/year.
Company provides all other required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-vis vest, hearing protection, etc).
Replacement PPE provided as needed for normal wear and tear.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. The company is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.
