Position Overview

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, UI/UX designers, software developers, database engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure application quality, functionality, performance, security, and data accuracy.

This role requires strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, Maven, TestNG, REST API testing, performance testing, SQL, and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will contribute to continuous testing and CI/CD processes while helping ensure applications meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and execute automated test solutions for web and mobile applications.
• Verify application features, functionality, integrations, and enhancements against business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with business users, UI/UX designers, software developers, database engineers, and infrastructure teams to maintain application quality standards.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Develop and maintain automated testing solutions to support application releases and CI/CD processes.
• Create and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Java, Maven, TestNG, and Page Object Model.
• Develop and execute REST API test scripts using tools such as RestAssured and Postman.
• Create, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Evaluate application response times, scalability, stability, and performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate application data and ensure database accuracy.
• Perform database testing across Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.
• Validate web and mobile applications for functionality, compatibility, cross-browser accessibility, and quality standards.
• Support application security and quality validation activities.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate defects and testing issues through resolution.
• Maintain test documentation, automation scripts, test results, and quality assurance artifacts.
• Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and quality standards.
• Support test planning, execution, reporting, and release-readiness assessments.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in quality assurance, software testing, or test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience creating, executing, and managing automated test scripts.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Java, Maven, and TestNG.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using the Page Object Model and testing best practices.
• Experience with REST API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or comparable tools.
• Experience creating and executing performance tests using Apache JMeter.
• Strong experience writing complex SQL queries using Microsoft SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience validating data accuracy and performing database testing.
• Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
• Experience with CI/CD-based testing and continuous quality validation.
• Experience with test management and quality tools such as Azure DevOps/Azure, Zephyr, Jira, Balsamiq, and Microsoft Visio, or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with IDE tools, logging frameworks such as Log4j, and software testing utilities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-grade test automation frameworks.
• Experience with API automation, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with performance testing analysis, bottleneck identification, and optimization recommendations.
• Experience testing applications across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Experience integrating automated testing into Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium.
• Experience with application security testing and accessibility validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development and software development lifecycle processes.
• Relevant QA, automation, or testing certifications are a plus.
