Our client is an established Wealth Management company, highly recognised with a fantastic reputation.

The Role:

The Portfolio Risk Analyst will work closely with the front office to ensure Portfolio Risk investment monitoring and ongoing mandate adherence. With a good knowledge of Multi Asset classes Monitoring will include a combination of pre-planned assurance work together with dealing with ad hoc queries and requests for information.

The Portfolio Risk Analyst is expected to be passionately focused on positive client outcomes. Support the design and upkeep of the Team’s Portfolio Risk monitoring processes to ensure adherence with key regulatory requirements and internal policies, procedures, group standards. Complete regular monitoring tasks, in line with the Team’s monitoring plan.

The Portfolio Risk Analyst will support the production and ongoing development of effective MI to monitor ongoing competence, adherence to policies and procedures, and to demonstrate that the right client outcomes are being achieved. Support the resolution of any breaches of client mandates.

The Portfolio Risk Analyst will support Front Office Investment Managers and key stakeholders across the Wealth Management business, acting as a key contact for first line Portfolio Risk matters.

The Portfolio Risk Analyst will have strong collaboration and sharing of best practice with Front Office teams, supporting the delivery of key Front Office Risk & Control initiatives involving Portfolio Risk.

The Candidate

2-3 years Portfolio Risk / Investment Risk / Investment Monitoring or Investment Analyst experience with a good understanding of multi asset classes and instruments, and ble to interpret investment risk analysis.

Experience of working in a discretionary or advisory investment management environment with a focus on Retail investors.

Advanced Excel skills are essential.
