A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Varicent Developer – Incentive Compensation
Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Charlotte, NC/ Minneapolis, MN – 3 days hybrid on-site role

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Varicent Developer to support the development, configuration, and enhancement of an enterprise Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform. In this role, you will work closely with business and technology teams to automate compensation processes, develop calculation logic, manage data integrations, and support reporting, workflows, and production compensation cycles.

As a Varicent Developer – Incentive Compensation, you will:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Configure, develop, and maintain the Varicent Incentive Compensation platform.
• Design and support data import processes, integrations, and compensation data management.
• Develop and troubleshoot compensation calculation logic, business rules, and payout processing.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for business stakeholders.
• Configure and support workflow processes, approval routing, and scheduler jobs.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, integrations, and data transformations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Support production compensation cycles, reconciliation, audit requirements, and system enhancements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot data, reporting, performance, and calculation issues while ensuring platform stability.

• Hands-on experience with Varicent development and configuration supporting Incentive Compensation Management (ICM).
• Experience with Varicent calculations, business rules, data imports, workflows, reporting, scheduler management, and platform administration.
• Experience developing Python scripts for automation, integrations, and data transformation.
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying for reporting, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting production compensation processing, payout validation, reconciliation, and ongoing platform maintenance.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale incentive compensation programs is preferred.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $75 - $80 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate''s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
