A Director is a leader within our management team who oversees regional client operations teams and supports global business initiatives. They are a brand ambassador who regularly interacts with clients, or prospective clients, on a all matters of our business while exercising strong commercial acumen.

Additionally, a Director will respond to any client escalations from the operations team and navigate to a resolution. This role is critical to delivering the high level of service and satisfaction MUFG is known for in the industry.

The Director is a subject matter expert who supports their regional operations group, fosters healthy culture, and encourages staff development across all ranks. Directors share the benefit of their experience by guiding their local management team and investing in every individual to deepen our organizational knowledge, and experience. They have deep technical knowledge of loans gained through years of experience which is available to support training and promotion of best practices within operations teams, and new product launches.

Role and Responsibilities 

Deliverables

· Oversee regional management to ensure SLAs are achieved

· Oversee client relationships and act as a point of escalation

· Review new business and support business development in the region

· Participate in sales and demonstration of our products

· Perform reviews on escalated items or deliverables for the operations team

 

Strategic Goals

· Champion quality and continuous improvement

· Participate in new service development and support new service rollouts

· Participate in and manage projects to enhance the overall service offering

 

Budgeting and Reporting

· Support and uphold a culture of control and compliance within company policy

 

Collaboration

· Collaboration with internal operations groups, across multiple departments, to deliver results

· Management of personnel, including ongoing feedback, performance management, and recruitment

Education Requirements

· University or College business degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance

· Relevant designation in accounting, finance, or management is an asset

Work Experience

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in management

· Minimum 10 years’ working experience in fund administration or relevant financial services in private credit
