In this contingent resource assignment, candidates may:
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. - Risk Analytics Consultant 2 - Contingent
- Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunities for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management.
- Review and analyze programing models to extract data, and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling, and exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverables.
- Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for more experienced management.
- Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues.
- Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business.
- 2 plus years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
In this contingent resource assignment, candidates may:
- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Risk Analytics and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics deliverables.
- Review and analyze moderately complex Risk Analytics challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel in Risk Analytics.
- This role will support Basel III Capital and Risk initiatives with a primary focus on data management, data sourcing, data mapping, data quality analysis, and testing activities supporting regulatory capital and risk reporting processes.
- The consultant will work across various teams to ensure critical Basel III data is sourced, validated, transformed, tested, and delivered accurately to downstream risk and capital calculation platforms.
- Advanced Excel (Required)
- Complex formulas and functions; Pivot tables and data analysis; Reconciliation and validation activities.
- SQL (Required)
- Data validation and reconciliation; Joins, aggregations, and data analysis.
- Python (Required)
- Data manipulation and analysis; Execution of data validation and testing activities\"
- 2 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, data management, data mapping, testing, or business analysis within Risk, Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Financial Services.
- Experience supporting regulatory, risk, capital, or enterprise data initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting Basel III, regulatory capital, or risk reporting programs.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, and data governance practices.
- Experience executing integration testing, UAT, and reconciliation testing for data initiatives.
- Experience working within large financial institutions and highly regulated environments.\"
