Air Conditioning Engineer

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Manchester - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Blue Chip & Data Centres CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client’s team of facilities management professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience of pressure leak tests, compressor changes and braising.

This is a mobile role, covering Manchester & surrounding areas.

Package Competitive salary between £42,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)<br />Van &amp; fuel card supplied<br />Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)<br />Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed)<br />25 days annual leave plus bank holidays<br />Generous workplace pension scheme<br />Training, development &amp; progression opportunities<br />Responsibilities Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers<br />Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment<br />Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency<br />Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions<br />Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades<br />Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment Qualifications Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry<br />Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification<br />Full UK driving licence<br />Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques<br />Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment<br />Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults<br />Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail<br />Ability to work independently and as part of a team<br />Effective communication and customer service skills<br />If you are a dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer, looking for a rewarding career opportunity, please apply with your full CV or contact Aaron Rutter at CBW Staffing Solutions
