Job Description

Technical Writer & Reporting Support Analyst

This is a Full-Time (W2) Remote position supporting Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) and requires an Active Government Clearance (Public Trust or Higher). Full Benefits, PTO, and paid holidays is inclusive to this position.

Contract Term: 1 year (With possible extensions)

Requirements: ship Work Authorization Status; Active Government Clearance (Public Trust or Higher); Completed College Degree (Bachelor’s Degree or Higher); 2+ years of professional experience including Program/Project Management supporting Government/Federal Health Agencies

Number of Available Positions/Salary Target:

  • 1 Position Technical Writer & Reporting Support Analyst: $80K- $115K/YR (Salary is flexible based on the relevant Professional Experience and Background related to the position)

 

Required Skills:

  1. 4-6 years of professional technical writing experience producing technical documentation/ specifications, methodologies, research reports, or policy documentation in healthcare consulting, government, or a similarly regulated industry
  2. 4-6 years of Medicare policy experience and the ability to interpret and summarize CMS publications such as Advanced Notices, Final Rules, Reports to Congress, or comparable regulatory guidance

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional written communication and analytical synthesis skills
  • Experience documenting statistical methodologies
  • Experience supporting value-based care, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, or healthcare payment models
  • Experience working alongside data scientists, actuaries, clinicians, or health economists.
  • Master’s preferred , in Public Health or Public Policy

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Produce methodology documentation describing analytical approaches, statistical methods, and healthcare payment models.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into presentations, white papers, SOPs, and decision logs
  • Research and summarize CMS regulations, Advance Notices, Final Rules, Reports to Congress, Medicare Policy updates, and other healthcare guidance.
  • Maintain documentation standards, version control, and publication processes.

Education:

  • Master’s preferred , in Public Health or Public Policy
