Senior Software Developer (Node and React)

Following significant investment in digital transformation, they are growing their software team and looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to help drive the next phase of development across a large-scale cloud platform used daily by thousands of users. The Role This isn't a maintenance role. You'll join a collaborative engineering team responsible for evolving a modern cloud-native platform, delivering new functionality, improving performance and scalability, and helping establish engineering best practice as the organisation continues to grow its internal capability. You'll have exposure across the full development lifecycle, working closely with product stakeholders to solve real business problems while contributing to architectural decisions and continuous improvement. What You'll Bring You'll ideally have experience with most of the following: Commercial experience building applications using TypeScript and Node.js Modern frontend development with React or similar frameworks Experience developing cloud-hosted applications (AWS preferred) REST APIs and microservice architecture SQL databases and data modelling CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices A passion for writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code Just as importantly, you'll enjoy collaborating with others, sharing ideas and continuously improving the way software is delivered.
