Clinical Pharmacist NICU LEVEL III

Up to $10,000 Sign On Bonus available based on experience

POSITION SUMMARY           

The clinical pharmacist for PICU/PEDS will be a unit-based pharmacist that will verify the orders and provide clinical services for the area(s) for which they are assigned. They will be a drug information resource for the nurses, physicians, patients, and families. The clinical pharmacist will be expected to fulfill staff pharmacist responsibilities as needed.                                            

Hours: Mon – Fri, 7:30 am – 4 pm. Every 4^th weekend”

Education:                     Doctor of Pharmacy Degree                                                                  

Experience:                   PGY-1 or PGY-2 in pediatric or equivalent experience with board certification in pediatric.

License                           Current registered pharmacist license in the State of Florida                                        

Certification                

Pharmacy license; BLS within 30 days of hire (ACLS and/or PALS if code attendance required); Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other specialty corresponding with practice area.
