  • Develop operational dashboards, documentation, and procedures for platform monitoring, incident response, access reviews, and cost reporting.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on platform architecture, upgrades, new capabilities, and enterprise data initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience administering and supporting Snowflake in a production enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, micro-partitions, caching, query execution, and resource consumption.
  • Advanced SQL skills and demonstrated experience diagnosing and resolving query performance issues.
  • Practical experience implementing Snowflake RBAC, role hierarchies, grants, access policies, and secure access patterns.
  • Experience with warehouse sizing, workload management, cost monitoring, and compute optimization.
  • Experience troubleshooting production incidents and improving platform reliability.
  • Strong understanding of database administration, data governance, and enterprise security practices.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and provide clear technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating Snowflake with AWS S3, IAM, Glue, and enterprise data pipelines.
  • Python or shell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake resource monitors, ACCOUNT_USAGE views, ORGANIZATION_USAGE views, and query history analysis.
  • Experience with Snowflake security features such as masking policies, row access policies, network policies, and authentication integrations.
  • Experience with Snowflake workload management, multi-cluster warehouses, replication, failover, and business continuity.
  • SnowPro Core or Advanced certification.
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated enterprise environment.
