Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

Description SAIC has an immediate need for a Systems Administrator to provides core enterprise service support onsite at Fort Bliss, Texas.

Job Description

• Assist with base mobilization exercises, ensuring NIPR/SIPR systems, user accounts, workstation images, and application services remain stable and mission-ready for 1A BDEs.
• Manage account provisioning, patching, STIG implementation, printer/PKI/mobile device support, and Tier 2/3 troubleshooting across exercise environments.
• Maintain accurate configuration documentation, delivers timely and precise reporting, and ensures all personnel operate within SAIC guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to surface issues early, support modernization of enterprise services, and help sustain a reliable technical foundation for MCIS and mission command operations.

Qualifications Required Education

• BS degree and two (2) years of hands-on experience; four (4) years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.

Required Skills

• Solid hands-on experience with VMware and/or other enterprise virtualization technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols, system security best practices, and IT infrastructure management.
• Proficient in Windows Server administration, patching, and update management.
• Familiarity with enterprise collaboration and project management tools.
• Understanding of DoD compliance frameworks, STIGs, and security hardening standards.

Required Certification

• CompTIA Security+ CE Required Clearance:
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
