Job Description

Role Summary

The Digital Assets Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. This role partners closely with the Enterprise Assets Specialist Lead to ensure digital assets are properly maintained, governed, organized, and available for activation across multiple marketing channels. The specialist provides operational support for asset intake, metadata validation, asset lifecycle management, user support, reporting, and DAM governance processes while helping ensure a consistent and positive user experience for internal teams and agency partners.
Responsibilities
Asset Operations: Manage day-to-day DAM librarian activities including asset intake, metadata validation, asset movement, folder management, version control, archival support, and repository maintenance.
Metadata & Governance: Review assets for compliance with DAM standards, validate metadata accuracy, support metadata audits, and assist with governance activities to improve discoverability, consistency, and usability of assets.
User Support & Troubleshooting: Provide first-level support for DAM users, agencies, and cross-functional teams by assisting with asset uploads, metadata questions, search issues, workflow support, and troubleshooting operational challenges.
Collaboration & Partnerships: Work effectively with marketing teams, agencies, channel teams, and platform partners to support content readiness, DAM adoption, and successful execution of asset management processes.
Quality & Compliance: Support governance controls through asset quality reviews, monitoring of metadata completeness, content organization, usage rights information, and adherence to established operating procedures.
Documentation & Training Support: Maintain operational documentation, process guides, and user-facing materials while supporting onboarding and adoption activities for DAM users.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Support reporting activities, identify operational trends, and recommend opportunities to improve DAM processes, user experience, and overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Business or Marketing.
2+ years of experience supporting Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS), marketing operations, or digital content operations.
Understanding of metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and asset lifecycle management.
Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Assets) or similar DAM platforms preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Experience supporting agency, marketing, or creative workflows is preferred.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud, Workfront, Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, or related collaboration platforms is preferred.
