Business Development Manager

Southend - Hybrid

Full-time - Monday to Friday

Up to 50,000 per annum

Are you a driven sales professional with experience in water hygiene, compliance, or technical services? We are looking for a commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive growth across commercial and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and secure new business opportunities within water hygiene and Legionella compliance services.
• Build strong relationships with facilities managers, landlords, and building operators.
• Develop and manage a pipeline through networking, referrals, targeted prospecting, and industry events.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, tenders, and remedial quotations.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue within existing accounts.
• Provide technical support and expert advice on complex water system and compliance matters.
• Conduct site audits to ensure service quality and compliance standards are maintained.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven business development or sales experience within water hygiene, Legionella control, facilities management, or a related technical sector.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions.
• Commercially focused with a proactive, customer-centric approach.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
