Transaction Reporting, Futures Business Analyst, 12-month fixed term contact - Macquarie Group

Join our specialist Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting team and help deliver accurate and effective transaction reporting across key global regulatory regimes. You will work across a broad range of exchange-traded derivatives, partnering with business, technology and compliance teams to strengthen processes and support Macquarie in meeting its regulatory obligations.

What role will you play?
As a Business Analyst, you will support transaction reporting with a particular focus on futures and exchange-traded derivatives. You will analyse existing business processes, translate regulatory and operational needs into clear business and functional requirements, and support day-to-day reporting operations across multiple jurisdictions. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business, technology and compliance teams, you will identify and analyse issues, contribute practical solutions and help ensure reporting remains accurate, timely and aligned with regulatory requirements. You will also share your knowledge and support the development of the wider team through coaching and guidance.
What you offer

• At least five years' relevant experience, with a background in transaction reporting, regulatory reporting, operations or a closely related area.
• Practical knowledge of Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MIFID) reporting and/or European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) reporting requirements.
• Experience working with futures or other exchange-traded derivatives products, with an understanding of transaction reporting processes.
• Business analysis experience, including analysing processes and translating business needs into clear business and functional requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across business, technology and compliance teams.
